The first step in losing weight is examining exactly how you eat. If your diet is loaded with sugars and carbohydrates you're setting yourself up for failure. Giving up things like bread, pasta and sweets can be pretty difficult, but you sure will power and after a few days you'll hardly notice that they're gone.

Exercise is key in any weight-loss program. You have to love these wonder drugs they claim that you can live the way you have been living and will still drop large amounts of weight. That is simply not realistic. You'll have to get ready for triathlon, but you do need to get out and get some type of exercise that will get that heart pumping for about a half an hour a day. This will increase your metabolism and burn off that fat that is hanging over the belt.

It will literally flush everything out. Make it a habit of putting a water bottle on your desk, in your bedroom, on the coffee table just that any where else you may sit or relax. You can constantly sip from the bottles and you'll find it quite easy to get your eight glasses of water in each day.
