The Real Weight Loss Guide

Strange as it may seem for some, weight loss is not really a process that requires well-guarded secrets or miracle pills or fancy gym equipment. Having said that, we offer you straightforward steps (six, to be exact) to aid you in losing weight effectively.

Know where you are coming from. If you are planning to go three or four sizes lower, you should know what size you are currently in now, so determine where your focal point is. This would direct the process of weight loss better.

Plan your weight loss. Set how much pounds you want to remove. Then, determine how much time you can dedicate to this plan. Know your weaknesses and strategize how to defeat them. Also, identify where to get motivation. In short, set goal-specific solutions that will let you get closer to your objectives.

Condition your mind. Psyche yourself into your objectives and envision your success. The mind plays a huge role in any weight loss, after all that's where motivation, willpower, and willingness come from. You need all these to be successful in achieving your current objectives.

Determine your personal steps to weight loss. These should be very specific and parallel to your lifestyle, abilities, threshold, and character. Can't stick with the plan you signed up for? Then, personalize it.

Monitor and be accountable for your actions. Watch out for setbacks, your failures, and the "cheats" you did against your plan. Keep track of your caloric intake, the changes in your weight, and the developments in your body. But most of all, watch out for your success and give emphasis on your achievements.

Affirm your objectives and restart if needed. There will come a point when you will be tempted to give up. Pray that it is not soon. However, once you reach this point where you feel you have had enough of failures, of plateaus, and of lack of speedy results, just try to hold on. Survive that day and continue on with your efforts. It will pay off eventually.
